Community Groups are smaller, usually home-based, mid-week meetings that connect people together at West Ryde Anglican Church for encouragement, accountability, Bible study and prayer. We currently have a variety of youth, men’s, women’s and mixed groups meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, and women’s groups that meet Tuesday daytime, with child-minding provided.
Additionally, a men’s breakfast prayer group meets in the church at 6.30am on Tuesday mornings and a senior’s fellowship group meets on the first Thursday of every month at 12 noon.
Community groups allow more in-depth study and discussion of the Bible, and encourage members to form deeper relationships within their group. Community groups are a major avenue through which pastoral care is provided in our church, and we strongly encourage all regular church members to attend or be linked up with a community group.
